Short Biography
Ms. Frida Karani is a graduate of Sociology/Social Work from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and her Master’s in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the Kenya Methodist University. Previously she was Coordinator - School of Business and Economics and Ag. Coordinator – School of Social Sciences at Mount Kenya University. She currently serves as Coordinator – Student Affairs, providing prolific vision and leadership in matters pertaining to the wholistic development of students at Embu University. In addition, she is a lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences and in management studies and a champion of national integration and cohesion. She has 10 years’ work experience 5 years in organizational practice and 5 years in university teaching. She is also a life and career counsellor with extensive experience with the youth and community outreach.
